Two hurt after hit by car while playing ‘Pokemon Go’
SUNGAI PETANI, Aug 12 — Two men, too occupied playing the Pokemon Go game, were injured after being hit by a car in Jalan Bakar Arang, near here, early today.
Kuala Muda police chief ACP Md Zukir Md Isa said in the 2.30am incident, Tan Chin Kang, 35, and Teoh Koon Ee, 30, were standing in front of a shop playing the game when they were hit by a Proton Wira vehicle.
"The car, however, fled the scene, while Chin Kang and his friend both suffered minor injuries," he said in a statement here today.
Md Zukir said Tan, who is a factory manager, injured his left leg while Teoh, who works as a salesman, suffered injuries on his face, head, hands and feet.
The victims were taken to the Sultan Abdul Halim Hospital for treatment and the police were still investigating the case, he added. — Bernama
