DR M & CO TO REVEAL PAKATAN HARAPAN’S LOGO ON JUNE 9, TO FINALIZE SEATS IN JULY

PUTRAJAYA: The official logo of Pakatan Harapan (PH) will be unveiled on June 9 in time for the upcoming 14th General Election.

Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said the logo will maintain the word ‘Harapan’ with some modifications.

“We have agreed that the logo will be revealed on Friday next week,” he told reporters after attending the PH meeting, today.

When asked on the prime minister candidate for PH, Dr Mahathir said they have yet to discuss on the matter.

Meanwhile, Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) communications director Khalid Abdul Samad said the coalition is expected to finalise the seat allocation for the next general election in July.

“Besides logo, we also discussed on the manifesto, seat allocation and all relevant matters regarding the general election,” he said.

Also present were PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang, Amanah president Mohamad Sabu and PPBM president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

The pact had earlier this month unveiled three shortlisted logos, which it had planned to pick from and use when it formally registers with the Registrar of Societies.

However, Netizens were left unimpressed by the simplistic design and colour of the logos.

On March 28, PPBM submitted to the PH leadership council a list of state and parliamentary seats it wishes to contest in the next general election.
