Rafizi raises doubt on Prasarana's ability to continue as a going concern

KUALA LUMPUR (July 26): Doubts have been cast on Prasarana Malaysia Bhd as a going concern by an opposition lawmaker on news that the public transport firm has allegedly chalked up debts of RM18 billion in 2015 with a likely increase in 2016.

Rafizi Ramli (PKR-Pandan) also doubts the ability of Prasarana to continue as a going concern based on his claim that the state-owned firm is expected to incur losses totalling RM142 million by May 2018 from its involvement in two rail projects in Saudi Arabia.
