KUALA LUMPUR – AirAsia Bhd’s group chief financial officer (CFO) Rozman Omar has been promoted to the position of group deputy chief executive officer (corporate) effective Sept 1.
In a filing with the local bourse, the low-cost airline said Rozman would now report to group chief executive officer Tan Sri Tony Fernandes.

“In his new role, Rozman will continue to oversee the group finance, treasury and investment, and financial planning and strategy. The group legal department will also be reporting to Rozman,” it said.

Pattra Boosarawongse, who is currently the CFO of Thai AirAsia, will assume the group CFO position for the AirAsia group effective Sept 1, and will directly report to Rozman, it said. – Bernama
