Vijay47: When Dzulkifli Ahmad, the new head of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), took over the agency and launched his famous damage-control operations against DBKL (Kuala Lumpur City Hall), one of the things he promised us was that MACC would investigate any person whose lifestyle reflected wealth beyond his means.
So now we have the daughter of a school teacher, who is wife of a mere prime minister, allegedly embarking on million-dollar international spending orgies like there is no tomorrow.
“With my own money” is all fine and dandy, Rosmah Mansor, but the question is, how did you manage to accumulate the monies to finance such opulence?
Savings since childhood notwithstanding, I believe that this would be the smoking hand-in-the-till gun that reveals the “living beyond known means” trigger factor which should put the entire MACC into a frenzy.
Jadi, MACC, macam mana? Great returns await, since DBKL pales in the shadow of MO1’s (Malaysian Official 1’s) 1MDB.
Anonymous 2415891461978791: The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) report states that banking documents prove that Rosmah’s purchases were paid for with stolen 1MDB money.
The US Department of Justice (DOJ) court filing has shown that her son, Riza Aziz, laundered millions of allegedly stolen 1MDB money via Red Granite Pictures and hyper-luxury US real estates.
The prosecutors are revealing enough of their case via WSJ to convince PM Najib Razak that even if he has diplomatic immunity, his wife and stepson do not.
Would Najib offer to retire from public life and return the money in exchange for his family members not being prosecuted? I would, but I’m sure he will not. As Malaysia’s little Hitler, he is committed to his scorched-earth policy.
RM2.6 Billion Turkey Haram: Initially, it was only Najib and his stepson Riza who were reported to have received millions of dollars from 1MDB. Now it is Rosmah’s turn to be revealed that she also had spent millions of 1MDB money.
There can be no greater shame and disgrace than this – the whole family is implicated in this dubious transaction involving the people’s money.
Credit must be given to Najib’s associate Jho Low for pulling such a complicated plan which otherwise would have been a perfect one had it not been executed in the US.
Umno leaders, please open your eyes. The money embezzled is from the people and could have been used to benefit the poor. It could be used for building hospitals, better roads or even finance thousands of needy students through the universities.
NNFC: Surely the possibility of Jho Low bankrolling Rosmah’s purchases is suspect even if he may call it donations.
Pahatian: It doesn’t matter if we are heading towards a failed state or bankruptcy, our PM and his FLOM (First Lady of Malaysia) must be maintained as the best and second to none of world leaders and their first ladies.

Anonymous 29051438068738: Just as the AG was appointed to enable the continued survival of the alleged ‘Pencuri Malaysia’ by shutting down any probe started by his predecessor, Dzulkifli in the MACC was assigned to the post with just one mission – ensure that no one in the commission is inspired to even look at the high-living thieves on whose authority his career and earnings depend.
DBKL was nothing more than a succulent bone thrown at those on a short leash to appease their need to feel useful in the office.
Rick Teo: Indeed, the IRB (Inland Revenue Board) should investigate how an ordinary housewife with no source of income can spend US$6 million on her husband’s income of a mere US$100,000 per year.

But here in Malaysia, the global media are having a field day and publicly print all sorts of vile accusation of corruption against the Malaysian PM, and yet there is no action taken to defend the honour of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
The rakyat demand the PMO to act to defend the country’s honour, Umno Malays’ dignity and the PM, who is falsely accused of corruption.
