SALAM DUA MALAYSIA TO EVERYONE IN DUNIA YANG FANA

This morning I had a chat on GST and its impact on locals in my Qariah OF TTDI,  an enclave for the rich and not so rich  Malaysians ie Malays and of other MUSLIM racial stocks;   Chinese of indigenous and migrant origins and OTHERS .
GST HAS REALLY ADVERSELY IMPACTED on SME businesses; Sinsehs,  Mom & Papa stores and hardware DIYS.

Some non-mamaks had to throw in their towel with all owners transfering  their addresses to countries with temperate climes.

Why did these SME sector businesses  close shop?

ITS GST MY FRIEND.

SMALL businesses cannot afford Microsoft  high end IT systems and  not even China-mari systems. The goods on sale there are 90% small items.
POOR eyesight prevents them from labelling all those micro sized goods.

No choice but to call it a day and spend their days dozing and day dreaming  on the balmy beaches of Australia's  Gold Coast or US Florida Boca Raton et al

In place of these neighbourhood shops, restaurants  began to mushroom.
Q Bistro, A & W,  Mari Makan, Asam Pedas et al among others.

GST IS Not an issue for the eating industry.
Mamaks have big money as they may be supported by Tamil Muslim small corporates albeit  not as humungous as 1MDB
AND have small time loan arrangers but not as notorious as Goldman Sachs.

They can however afford to have tag teams  of Gates and Steve Job as their IT insultants and con-sultants, one to insult and another to CON them BIG TIME

Futher,  TTDI villagers have plenty of money,  spinned off from EPF and KWAP, (PRE GoM bond dated 3/8/17 for value of 5/8/17) to splurge on mamak joints day and night.
They even ignore the other eating joints owned by Malay muslims, non-halal M_____is and always HARAMI  places owned by my Chinese relatives and 3rd cousins 13 times removed.

Also the items sold in these ristorante are few and far between and thus easily labelled by their financially trained workers, some are UiTM graduates in Mass Comm like my younger BRO, Man the avid Golfer and Astro Tamil movie buff.

In my Qariah  or village of Taman Tun we all live and talk happily ever after and always have spirit  of "live and  let live" to mostly spending time much to the chagrin of their better halves at Ismail Restoran (belonging to my new friend) and Q Bistro (owned and operated  by my  new enemy who overcharged me for the supply of  Syabas generated air suam or hot water yesterday morning)

Folks here like to drink and eat alfresco where everyone and everybody that matters knows each other's names

NB
Jangan lupa ke Masjid Attaqwa today and Sunday 12/8/17, over there no one knows your names or bother to ask "how do you do" but luckily for us they do not ask how do I sue you as per normal in Jew York.
