Police raid restaurant ‘serving’ sex for dessert
KUALA LUM:PUR: Food is not the only craving satisfied at a restaurant in an oil palm plantation in Kuala Langat, Selangor, according to police.
A special task force raided the restaurant recently after receiving a tip off that sex was also on the menu, Kosmo! Ahad reported yesterday.
The raid, which took place at 10pm last Friday, saw the Special Task Force for Anti-Vice, Gaming and Gangsterism (STAGG) nab 30 guest relations officers (GROs) as well as three managers.
STAGG deputy commander Senior Asst Comm Khairi Ahrasa said all the GROs were foreigners, with 29 from China and one from the Philippines.
“Of the three managers, two were Indonesians while the third was a Chinese national,” he added, according to the Bahasa Malaysia daily’s Sunday edition.
Police believe that the restaurant had been providing its “extra services” for more than six months prior to the raid.
“The restaurant has special rooms that allow customers to pick the foreign GROs for sexual services,” SAC Khairi was quoted as saying by Kosmo! Ahad, adding that customers were understood to have paid between RM150 and RM180 for the services.
