Armarium: rent high-end fashion from an app
NEW YORK, June 2 — Armarium, the app which launched in beta back in April 2016, has now gone live for all users, it has been reported by WWD.
The app enables users to rent luxury fashion items, with collections limited to pieces from the current and previous seasons.
This sets Armarium apart from other startups offering fashion-to-rent, as their garments and accessories are exclusively high-end: renting from US$300 to US$500 (RM1,247 to RM2,079), and retailing for US$3,000 to US$5,000.
For an additional fee, Armarium users can also hire from a selection of 21 celebrity and fashion stylists, including Shiona Turini, Karla Martinez de Salas and Natalie Joos.
The company is headed by long-time fashion expert Alexandra Lind Rose and Trisha Gregory, former head of Public Relations at Salvatore Ferragamo North America.
The Armarium app can be downloaded from the App Store and also via the company’s website: www.armarium.com. — AFP-Relaxnews
