According to JoBlo, Elizabeth Debicki (The Night Manager) will be joining the sequel as blonde haired villain named Ayesha.

The site describes her character as a “goddess-like” being who is created by a group of scientists calling themselves the Enclave.

The film will be directed by James Gunn and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Michael Rooker, Kurt Russell, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel among others.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is set for UK release on April 28, 2017 and will open in US on May 5, 2017
