Iskandar at PKR Congress in Shah Alam, November 28, 2015. — Picture by Yusof Mat Isa SABAK BERNAM, June 10 — Selangor PAS commissioner Datuk Iskandar Abdul Samad urged rivals Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) and Barisan Nasional (BN) today not to employ smear tactics while campaigning for their respective candidates in the June 18 Sungai Besar by-election.

He said campaigns should be based on facts and not baseless accusations, following the erection of racially inflammatory billboards in Sekinchan, one of the state constituencies within the greater Sungai Besar parliamentary seat.

“Let us not compromise the harmony of the people here in the name of campaigning.

“Speculation based on hearsay is not professional,” he told a news conference.
