LIBIDOS RUN HIGH IN MALACCA: FROM WECHAT TO ‘WE CAN ALSO HAVE SEX’

MALACCA – All we had to do was search the “people nearby” function in the WeChat mobile phone application. Surprisingly, profile names sprang up, without pictures but all offering sexual services.

Dozens of college students were offering sex service and the prices ranged from RM150 to RM300.

Areas like Cheng and Ayer Keroh had the highest number of those offering their services online. These local girls are touted to be young and sexy, and willing to do “anything” for their clients.

Some claimed to be pursuing degree and diploma courses in colleges here. There were also those offering aphrodisiacs and one even claimed to be a transvestite.
The Star team managed to connect to a 20-year-old student who wanted to be known only as Abby.

Abby said locals and even foreign students offered such services, either freelance or through pimps.

“Going through pimps is safer as those offering sex on their own could be frauds,” she said.

Abby also revealed that the price per session depended on the individuals and not on the age. Each session, she said, could cost RM150 to RM250 excluding hotel room fees.

One WeChat group believed to be managed by pimps offered pictures of new arrivals claiming to be local and foreign college students.

Anyone interested would have to send a personal message and a list of girls would be sent to his mobile phone. The team sent a message and several pictures of young girls striking sexy poses was received. Most looked to be Thai or Vietnamese.

It also stated that each session would last for 45 minutes and cost RM165 to RM200 including hotel room. For overnight services, the cost was from RM500 to RM700, including room charges.

Another check on the same WeChat application yesterday showed that many profiles had been deleted after the police crackdown. – ANN
