KUALA LUMPUR (July 3): Companies linked to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) ambassador to the US, Yousef Al Otaiba, are alleged to have received US$66 million (about RM284 million) from 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB)-linked firms.

The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), citing court and investigative documents, reported that the purpose of the money transfers was not specified.
