Tye Sheridan stars as Parzival, a young man who escapes his drab, depressing reality by logging into an '80s-influenced virtual reality paradise known as OASIS. When its mysterious creator dies, he leaves behind a puzzle that promises his entire fortune to the first person to find a solution.

What gives Parzival an edge in the game is that he knows '80s pop culture better than just about anyone. And what gives Ready Player One an edge in theaters is that it's being directed an '80s pop culture legend – Steven Spielberg. Read more...
