KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 8): The FBM KLCI dipped 0.28% at mid-morning today, weighed by select blue chips.

At 10.01am, the FBM KLCI fell 4.94 points to 1,778.04.

Losers led gainers by 246 to 241, while 331 counters traded unchanged.

Volume was 864.00 million shares valued at RM297.46 million.

Asian shares edged up on Friday as investors kept a wary eye on another U.S. storm, while the dollar skidded after European Central Bank chief Mario Draghi suggested the bank may begin tapering its massive stimulus programme this autumn, according to Reuters.
