KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 8): The FBM KLCI opened marginally lower this morning, weighed by select blue chips but stayed above the 1,780-point level.

At 9.05am, the FBM KLCI shed 1.02 points to 1,781.96.

The top losers included Petronas Dagangan Bhd, Hong Leong Industries Bhd, Bursa Malaysia Bhd, Alliance Financial Group Bhd, Genting Bhd, Hartalega Holdings Bhd, CIMB Group Holdings Bhd, Texchem Resources Bhd and Lii Hen Industries Bhd.
