Amber Rose — host of the annual Slutwalk, which celebrates women's rights and works to put an end to rape culture — is all about female empowerment. So it should come as no surprise that she had quite a few thoughts about Cam Newton's recent sexist remarks to a female sports journalist.

On Wednesday, the Carolina Panthers quarterback told Jourdan Rodrigue, sports journalist at the Charlotte Observer, "It's funny to hear a female talk about routes like — it's funny." As a result, the NFL player received a great deal of backlash, even losing his sponsorship from Dannon.
