New payment system for US visa applications

KUALA LUMPUR: Applicants of United States visa can pay the fees over-the-counter at any AmBank branch starting May 3, said the US Embassy in Malaysia.

It said in a statement that Maybank will no longer accept over-the-counter payments for the visa applications effective May 31.

Visa applicants may continue to pay their fees via electronic funds transfer or use the online payment platform JomPAY, it added.
