In a statement today, SPAD said that appropriate action will be taken after its investigation into the matter, and that KTMB is currently working on reopening the tracks where the accident occurred, in order to resume full railway services as soon as possible.
“The reopening will be announced by KTMB. Users seeking additional information about services are encouraged to refer to ktmb.com.my or to call the KTMB line at 03-22671200,” SPAD said.

There were no fatalities, but according to Bernama, three passengers were sent to the Kuala Kubu Bharu Hospital with minor injuries.
