KUALA LUMPUR (July 5): The FBM KLCI saw muted gains at teh midday break today as sentiment at the local market stayed tepid in line with the subdued regional bourses.

At 12.30pm, the FBM KLCI ticked up 0.50 points to 1,762.58.

Gainers edged losers by 294 to 290, while 446 counters traded unchanged. Volume was 745.49 million shares valued at RM646.17 million.
