'Outlander' boss 'can't imagine a scenario' in which the show will overtake the books

Fans of George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series have had to come to terms with the fact that Game of Thrones is totally going to spoil the ending of their favorite book series, but Outlander boss Ron Moore doesn't think Diana Gabaldon's fans have anything to worry about on that front.

"I cannot imagine a scenario where we catch up with Diana Gabaldon," Moore said during the show's panel at the Television Critics Association summer press tour on Friday. "She’ll tell us what the end of the story is."

Gabaldon has published eight books in her series of Outlander novels so far, with a ninth in the works, while Starz's Outlander is currently entering its third season. Read more...
