Angry Chinese Woman Caught on Video Attacking Airport Employee Over Flight Delay

While it is understandable that flight delays can sometimes bring out the worst moods, one elderly woman in China simply took it a bit too far when she unleashed her anger on an airline employee.

The enraged woman was caught on video unleashing her wrath on an airport worker after her delayed flight was finally canceled due to a bad weather.

In the widely shared footage posted on Chinese social media, the irate passenger can be seen slapping the employee at his face. Quite admirably, the said staff member was able to retain his composure despite the violent outburst from the unreasonable client.

The fact that he was even able to keep the smile on his face earned him praise and admiration from netizens.

According to Shanghaiist, the untoward incident took place at the Shenyang Taoxian International Airport on Thursday morning and involved an angry passenger identified only by her surname Li.

It was revealed that due to terrible weather conditions, the woman’s flight had earlier been delayed and passengers were told to wait. After waiting for five hours, the airport finally announced that the flight will not be able to push through.

The announcement of the cancellation must have pushed the woman over the edge, causing her to pass the blame to the calm and collected airport employee. She reached over a counter to slap and claw at the worker’s face.

The woman’s violent actions, fortunately, did not go unpunished as she has reportedly been sentenced to be detained for 10 days and fined 200 yuan ($15) for her mildly vicious assault.
