Amanah to field candidates in 13 seats
KUCHING: Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) has confirmed that it would be contesting in 13 seats this coming state election.
Its election director Dr Hatta Ramli revealed today (April 22) that it would be the first time for Amanah to contest in these areas.
“We will be contesting in 13 of the 82 seats this state election,” he told a press conference held at Grand Continental Hotel here.
Amanah deputy president Salahuddin Ayob introduced the 13 candidates, who are Mohammad Fidzuan Zaidi (Demak Laut), Nani Sahari (Samariang), Abang Abdul Halil Abang Naili (Muara Tuang), Othman Mustapha (Sadong Jaya), Rapelson Richard Hamit (Gedong), Andrew Jain (Sebuyau), Andri Zulkarnaen Hamden (Beting Maro), Jini Sahini (Kabong), Sopian Julaihi (Kuala Rajang), Mohamad Fadilah Sabali (Semop), Ibrahim Bayau (Daro), Kiprawi Suhaili (Jemoreng) and Nurzaiti Hamdan (Balingian).
