Stella Tennant and Anja Rubik star in riotous Moschino campaign
MILAN, June 8 — Jeremy Scott, creative director of Moschino, has unveiled a series of pictures from the Italian fashion house’s fall 2016 campaign. Moschino’s stiletto-clad star models are captured in riotous scenes of rage, destruction, graffiti and beat-up cars.
Jeremy Scott has enlisted a veritable army of models for the fall 2016 Moschino campaign, with particular preference for internationally renowned runway stars. This model dream team can be seen causing a ruckus in a series of promotional shots, combining two or three images in multi-photo collages.
Shot by the renowned fashion photographer Steven Meisel, the campaign captures several models in a state of riotous rebellion, trying their hand at graffiti, smashing up a car, tearing up posters and generally letting rip against something or someone. The shots channel the feel of the fall 2016 collection, with its urban, edgy, rock-chic vibe, featuring chains, leather, fishnet and ripped-effect dresses, matched with oversized necklaces that go big on bling.
This first series of shots stars models Anna Cleveland, Stella Tennant, Anja Rubik, Raquel Zimmermann and Yuri Pleskun.
While many fashion houses sign one or two key faces to front new collections, a growing number of designers are enlisting whole teams of models. Olivier Rousteing’s “Balmain Army” is a case in point. Riccardo Tisci also recently starred Bella Hadid, Irina Shayk and Lily Aldridge in the latest Givenchy campaign. — AFP-Relaxnews
