‘LA Law’ reboot in the works
LOS ANGELES, Aug 3 — If you grew up in the 80s, you probably have fond memories of watching LA Law on TV3 and dreaming of becoming a lawyer.
Well, you can now relive those good times because creator Steven Bochco has confirmed he is working on a reboot of the beloved NBC drama.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bochco revealed on The Rich Eisen Show that he is “currently working on a script with the goal of having it completed in October” with original writer, Bill Finkelstein.
And yes, Bochco said that he would love to have many of the original stars return.
The cast included Richard Dysart, Alan Rachins, Corbin Bernsen, Jill Eikenberry, Michael Tucker, Susan Ruttan, Harry Hamlin, Susan Dey, Jimmy Smits, Michele Greene, Blair Underwood, Larry Drake and John Spencer, among others.
LA Law ran for eight seasons on NBC from 1986 to 1994. It won 15 Emmys, four of which were for best drama.
