KUALA LUMPUR (June 30): Cagamas Holdings Bhd and Cagamas Bhd chairman Datuk Ooi Sang Kuang will step down tomorrow (July 1) as part of the organisation's succession planning.

Cagamas Holdings is the holding company of Cagamas Bhd, which is also known as the National Mortgage Corp of Malaysia. Cagamas Bhd issues bonds to finance the purchase of housing loans from Malaysian banks to ensure banks here have sufficient liquidity to offer housing loans to consumers.
