It also happens to have a really cool design shop, where you can buy pieces designed by their favorite artists. This skull lamp, designed by Israeli artist Nir Chehanowski exclusively for MoMa, is one of our favorites. It looks like a 3D skull, but that's actually an optical illusion. The skull is just a sheet of acrylic glass with laser-cut lines outlining the shape of the skull. LED light travels up from the base, illuminating the lines and creating the 3D effect.  Read more...
