No one would help this poor kid except a blind man (VIDEO)
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 11 — MaxMan TV recently ran a social experiment to see if the public would buy cookies from a poor child, and the results are surprising.
In a video posted on their Facebook page on Monday, the channel roped in a child named Adam, who was made to look like a poor street kid by rubbing some dirt onto his skin and dressing an overly large T-shirt with several holes.
His mission? To try and sell cookies to strangers.
Two hours after the experiment started with no success so far, Adam approached a blind gentleman sitting on the stairs.
The blind man handed him a small bundle of notes that he had gotten from selling tissues, telling the child to get some food as he said he hadn’t eaten. He also took the time to ask about the child’s welfare, asking if Adam was going to school.
It was revealed than that it was just a social experiment, and that Adam was a child actor. MaxMan TV’s representative handed the money back to the elderly man and also gave him a little extra on top of it, which made him so touched he teared up.
The video has gone viral since it was published, raking in over 900,000 views in four days, with many commenting on the kindness of the blind man, while others bemoaned the uncaring nature of the public.
