Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is coming sooner than you think

We already sort of knew, but now we really know: Samsung will launch its next flagship, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, in late August.

According to ePrice, Samsung Mobile chief DJ Koh recently confirmed as much at a meeting with journalists in Taiwan, saying the announcement will come at the end of next month.

Koh didn't share the exact date; previous reports indicated August 23 as the launch date, and August 30, the press day ahead of the IFA trade show in Berlin, is another date that makes sense. Samsung has confirmed to Mashable that Note 8 will indeed launch in late August, but would not confirm the exact date. Read more...
