JOHOR BAHRU: Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd (Kerjaya Prospek) has secured a construction project with a contract sum of RM312.85 million.

Kerjaya Prospek, formerly known as Fututech Bhd in a statement yesterday said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd (KPSB) signed a letter of award (LA) with BCB Heights Sdn Bhd (BCB) for the main building works of a proposed development project known as “Elysia Park Residence – Phase I” in Johor.

The company revealed that the entire construction and completion of the main building works is scheduled to start this month and is expected to be completed by 2019.

Meanwhile, Kerjaya Prospek’s executive chairman Datuk Tee Eng Ho said, “We are very thankful to BCB to have awarded this project to Kerjaya Propsek and to have recognised and trusted our capabilities in undertaking this project for BCB.

“I am confident that with BCB’s prominent profile as a property developer and our expertise in high-rise construction and project management, will surely make this project a success,” he said.

Elysia Park Residence is located in Iskandar Malaysia and is of walking distance from Legoland, a four-acre park and other entertainment amenities.

The company disclosed that the development will comprise of three residential towers ranging from 30 floors to 36 floors and a 10-floors carpark including a clubhouse.

Tee added, “It has been our internal target to secure an order book of RM600 million this year and with today’s award our total order book has reached RM596.61 million.

“Notwithstanding that, we will continue with other potential tenders that we have in the pipeline and work towards securing more projects for the group,” Tee said.
