Ringgit opens lower against US Dollar

At 9.12 am, the local unit was quoted at 4.0285/0335 against the greenback from yesterday’s close of 4.0200/0270.
The market turned cautious ahead of the release of Malaysia’s first quarter 2016 Gross Domestic Product (GDP) data at noon today, said a dealer.
Traders are also awaiting US April producer price index (PPI) data due later in the day that could set the greenback’s tone.
