Renee Zellwegger returns in the title role for ‘Bridget Jones’ Baby’ which will hit cinemas next month. — AFP pic LONDON, Aug 6 — A fourth book detailing the trials and tribulations of Bridget Jones is to be published in October, the BBC reported yesterday.

Bridget Jones’ Baby: The Diaries will come out a month after a new film, titled Bridget Jones’ Baby, hits cinemas.

Publisher Jonathan Cape told the UK news site that the new book would be set after the events in 1999’s The Edge of Reason but before Mad About the Boy.

Slated to hit bookstores on October 11, the book is based on Fielding’s original columns in the Independent and chronicles Bridget’s “somewhat bumpy journey into motherhood.”
