Brader Anwar Ibrahim Versus Nabi Ibrahim And The Parliamentary Reforms That Are NOT Going To Happen.

Here is quite a walkabout  

The problem with Muslims, almost ALL of them with very, very few exceptions is in the way they are indoctrinated in religion since young. Yes the word is indoctrination.

The most important indoctrination in their religion is "You cannot think".  
The Malay version is  "Kita tidak boleh menggunakan akal dalam hal agama". 

The entry into this UNTHINKING CLUB OF DOOM is through their sectarian identity.  When I was a child we learnt very quickly that our sect (or mazhab) was Hanafi. 

Yo guys I am a Hanafi.  Most mamaks (Indian Muslims) are Hanafi. 
But I dont get any discounts at the kedai mamak.

Then I found out that there were Shafies as well. 

All Malays are Shafie. Some mamaks from Kerala are Shafie.

Then you have the larger sects of Sunnis and Shias.

Anyway I digress.  So every Muslim belongs to a sect. 

When it comes to religion a Muslim child is taught NOT to think.  

And this carries on throughout their adult life.  

What Muslims are taught to do is to REFER to others.  

What this means is referring to their religious gurus, all of whom lived and died centuries ago or sometime ago.

To maintain or preserve the sectarian identity it is vital that each sect builds up its own heroes and scholars.

No heroes, no scholars no sect. 

No money no religion. 

As simple as that.

So each sect teaches its children to revere, respect, blindly accept, unquestioning stupid "telan dengan botol"   its sectarian gurus.

So they are always saying really screwed up things like:

According to the Maturidi .. (I just found out this one most recently)

According to the Ashaari . . . 

According to Imam Jaafar Sadik . . 

According to Maulana Abdul Kadir Jailani
According to Sheikh Nizamuddin Chisti

According to Imam Suyuti . . .

According to Imam Tabari . . . 

According to Maulana Khandlavi . .

According to Maulana Fazlul Kareem . . .

etc etc. It goes on and on.

None of them dare say, "In my view. . " or 'In my opinion.."

They are all brain dead.  They cannot think for themselves.  And of course there is a reason for this as well. 

They are NOT taught to know and understand the Quran. 
Muslims as a RULE do not know what is in their Quran. 

They are ONLY taught what their SECTARIAN gurus have told them. That is all. 

When humans have less faith in Allah swt, then they can get deviated. 
They start believing their religious gurus. 
No guru no religion.
This is the fatal mistake.

Here is the story of Abraham from the Quran. Abraham lived among a society that worshipped idols and other physical objects. 

Chapter 6 (al-An'am) verses 76-80

So when the night outspread over Ibrahim, he saw a star; he said, “This is my Lord.” But when the star set he said, ”I do not like the transitory.”

When he saw the moon rising, he said, “This is my Lord.” But when the moon set he said, “If my Lord had not guided me, then I shall surely be of the people who have gone astray.”

When Ibrahim saw the sun rising, he said, “This must be my Lord, this is greater. But when the sun set, he said, “O my people, surely I am free from what you associate. I have sincerely turned myself to Him who originated the heavens and the earth, and I am not one of the polytheists.”

So Abraham was also following what his community was following.  But what saved Abraham was that he used  his intelligence, logical thinking and critical thinking. This was what saved Abraham.  When he realised that the sun, moon and stars were just objects.  

Abraham said  “O my people, surely I am free from what you associate.

Abraham broke the mold. 

Pecah acuan. 

He was able to break free and save himself.

Brader Anwar is also going through a similar phase. 

Instead of looking to the moon, sun, stars etc, Brother Anwar has been betting on other human beings.

When it comes to religion a Muslim child is taught NOT to think.  
And this carries on throughout their adult life.

He joined ABIM but that did not get him anywhere. 

His followers are still "dalam keadaan mencari-cari". 

He hung out with the Muslim Brotherhood (IIIT, Faruqi, Qardawi etc).

After 30 years they are an unmitigated disaster. 

The Ikhwan inspired Arab Spring in 2011 has become an Arab Hell 

With no end in sight for this Api Neraka that is now burning for SEVEN years..

Brader Anwar began hanging out with pro Ikhwan  Erdogan.

Erdogan has created a disaster for Turkey.

Erdogan is also murdering the Kurdish people on a daily basis.

Who cares? Kurds are not even human beings. 

Along the way Brader Anwar promised Reformasi.

Now his party controls Parliament.  Where is the Reformasi?

They said they would abolish the Sedition Act. 

Now it looks like that is NOT going to happen. 

Brader Anwar has declared his love  for the Malay Rulers.

Abolishing the Sedition Act does not jive with this undying love.

Now he wants to reform Parliament !!

But Parliament already has a back door. 

The Bomba says all buildings must have a back door - for Fire Safety.

Brader Anwar is 72 years old. 

It is unlikely he will live to be 93.

He will be lucky to make it to 80.

Time is short.

Abraham saw that the sun set. 
The moon set. 
The stars disappeared. 
These cannot be your gods.  
So Abraham broke free.

Brader Anwar must break free from "religion" and all these gurus. 
They will continuously fail him. 

Time is too short.  
So what can Brader Anwar contribute? 

The country needs urgent educational reform.

1.  The education system should be in English. Let Malay be the language of Parliament. But elsewhere on planet Earth, on the planet Mars and in Heaven the lingua franca is English. You dont speak English you will be left behind.

2. The country needs STEM based education (Science Technology Engineering and Maths).  This is super urgent.  Miss out on STEM and your children can become an ostard baca doa.

3.   We need to urgently remove religion from our education system - completely.  Religion is the huge hole at the bottom of the ship. You can buy the latest super pumps to pump out all the water, but if you dont fix that hole at the bottom of the ship, YOU WILL SINK. Remove religion from the education system. Religion stays at home, inside your heart.

4. Introduce philosophy into the education system from primary to university level. 

Teach the Socratic Method of  asking and answering questions "to stimulate critical thinking and to draw out ideas and underlying presumptions"  (Why does a god exist? Why did god create heaven and hell? Why does god reward or punish? Why?)

Our school children should know Plato and Aristotle's arguments about  morality, virtue, ethics, values.  

Teach the Quranic insistence on "show me your proof for whatever you say, if indeed you are truthful".  

These would be urgent and useful educational reforms. We can create giants. 

If Brader Anwar can undertake this work, history will build monuments to him.

Unfortunately with his confusion over his version of religion, the Ikhwan, and all this crap, history will most likely show him the back door.
