Petronas to bid for Brazil's October oil auction — report

KUALA LUMPUR (July 6): Oil major Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) is set to be among the bidders for Brazil's pre-salt area oil blocks during the oil auctions slated for October this year, according to a report by Business Insider yesterday.

The report quoted Marcio Felix, Brazil's Secretary of Oil and Gas of the Ministry of Mines and Energy, as saying that Petronas may become one of the investors for the oil auction, on Oct 27 this year.
