X-File ‘Ghostly apparition’ captured on camera

A MAN claimed to have captured the image of a female spirit at a village in Malacca, China Pressreported.

The man, known only as Huang, said he had gone to the village with his friends after hearing about wandering spirits there.

Huang, 34, said they bumped into a group of villagers who were said to be staying up to catch the spirit at about midnight on Thursday.

“I then took out my phone to take random photos of the area,” he said. 

To his shock, Huang found among the images an apparition clad in white standing between two trees.

When the group was shown the photo, one of the female villagers suddenly became possessed by a Datuk Gong (deity), he said.

“Through this woman, the Datuk Gong said the spirit was from Indonesia and brought in by outsiders to challenge the villagers there,” he added.

Huang and his friends left after the incident.

> The daily also reported that a 21-year-old woman from Chongqing, China, was stunned to receive “hell money” from a man after spending a night with him.

A local newspaper, Qianjiang Evening News, said the woman had run into the man who promised to “look after” her by paying her 20,000 yuan (RM12,000) for a month.

After the woman agreed, the man gave her a stack of money before having sex with her.

The next day, the woman realised that it was “hell money” and lodged a police report.
