One Man’s Random Act Of Kindness Gave A Military Family An Awesome Gift

When one U.S. Army service member came back from a tour in Iraq for 15 days, he was more than ready to go on vacation with his family.

At the airport, he met a guy named Brad who was incredibly interested in his life and where his family was going on vacation. Brad asked the military man to sign his finance book. He said he was going to send a letter.

So excited to see his family after being away from them for so long, he didn’t think much about Brad’s request. He got off the plane and hugged his wife, older child, and his baby, who he hadn’t seen since the tot was five days old.

When the reunited family arrived at their destination, the hotel clerk told them their entire trip had been paid in full. Brad wanted to do more than send a letter. He wanted to make their vacation special in honor of the sacrifices they’d all made.

Military families sacrifice so much for our freedoms. Even if you can’t pay for a meal or a vacation, you can (and should) always say thank you.
