Governor promises simplify power investors
BANJARMASIN, South Kalimantan: Governor of South Kalimantan Sahbirin Noor said his government will facilitate clearance for private companies who want to build a power plant in the province, AntaranewsKalsel reported.
“We will make it easy for granting permits for investors who get in South Kalimantan, including power investor,” said Sahbirin in Banjarmasin on Wednesday.
According to Sahbirin, he has asked the state-run electric company PT PLN to more attention to the condition of electricity in South Kalimantan.
He stressed, “Do not let the promise of no blackout again in 2017 turned out to be blackout again.” “Do not let such commitments to happen again,” he said.
Sahbirin said that the target of South Kalimantan free of blackout in 2019, as the target of the central government.
