Childish Gambino to debut new album during ‘Pharos’ shows

LOS ANGELES, June 21 — The American actor, writer, comedian and musician Donald Glover, aka Childish Gambino, announced a three-day event during which he will perform music from his upcoming album.

Last Friday, Childish Gambino shared anew app featuring a mysterious countdown which expired yesterday, revealing the dates for a series of shows promising “new music” and the “full album experience”.

This new album will be the first full-length musical project since 2013’s Because the Internet, Gambino’s second studio album which was nominated for a Grammy Award.

Childish Gambino will be performing at Joshua Tree, California, from September 2-4.

Tickets go on sale from June 24 via the same PHAROS Earth app. — AFP-Relaxnews
