Beloved retired police dogs find a happy home in Hangzhou
In a valley 50 kilometers away from the West Lake in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, former policeman Bai Yifei has built a special home for retired police dogs. It’s the first one in the province, perhaps in all of China. Ten years ago, Bai decided to take advantage of his decades of experiences in training police dogs to provide a shelter for homeless dogs. He started the Yifei dog training school. Later, Bai expanded his dog training school to include special quarters for his four-legged colleagues, who had also devoted entire careers to service.
