AZMIN FAMILY CIRCUS KICKS IN: MB’S FLAMBOYANT BROTHER THREATENS TO EXPOSE HIS ‘SECRETS’ – BUT IS IT A RUSE TO DEFLECT ATTENTION FROM REAL & SERIOUS CORRUPTION ALLEGATIONS

Clad in a bright red jubah (robe), Selangor Menteri Besar Azmin Ali’s brother Mohamed Azwan, turned up at the Umno general assembly at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) in Kuala Lumpur this afternoon.

Speaking to reporters, he threatened to expose the PKR deputy president’s “secrets”.

Azwan’s show of solidarity with Umno comes in the wake of a viral video in which the former TV host vowed to destroy his brother.

“For years I have kept Azmin’s secrets and God willing, I will expose them one by one,” he said, adding that one of the “secrets” involved an incident in a washroom.

Azwan said the reason he came to PWTC was to show his brother that he was serious.

“My presence is a gift to Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak ahead of the 14th general election.

“I want to remind Azmin, don’t think I’m bluffing, don’t think I received ‘dedak‘ (gratification) or I am paid millions by Umno. No, by Allah, I chose this.

“I have held a grudge against Azmin for a long time and he has forgotten what our father entrusted. Don’t think you’re great because you’re menteri besar, I will take you down,” he added.

Azwan is a popular television personality and he has also had an acting stint.

He claimed he was abandoned by Azmin (photo) despite being sidelined for standing by his brother in the past.

“I lost my job at Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) because I stood behind him before this.

“But after he won big… until today, I did not receive a single text message from him,” he said, adding that he has been unemployed for years.

Azwan was accompanied by Sungai Besar Umno chief Jamal Md Yunos during the visit.

A million ideas to ‘jahanam‘ Azmin

In the video, Azwan said he wanted to meet Najib or Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Razali Ibrahim.

“It is not to seek payment or to apple polish him. But I promise I have a million ideas… to destroy (jahanam) Azmin throughout Selangor.

“Not only in Bukit Antarabangsa, not only in Gombak… I have many programmes I have thought of that would put a smile on (Umno Youth chief) Khairy Jamaluddin’s face.

“Khairy will be happy, we will destroy Azmin in Selangor and perhaps throughout the country,” Azwan said.

Azmin is the state assemblyperson for Bukit Antarabangsa and MP for Gombak. Jamal is looking to contest against Azmin in Bukit Antarabangsa.

Azwan said he is not concerned about being labelled an Umno lackey and the recording ended with him chanting, “Long live Najib, long live the PM, damn Azmin. This is my oath”.

Earlier, Astro Awani quoted Razali as stating that he was prepared to meet Azwan and evaluate his proposals.
