Ten tourists injured by volcano eruption at Mount Etna
Ten people were injured after magma from Sicily's Mount Etna caused an explosion on Thursday. The tourists were drawn to Etna to observe the spectacle of the active volcano erupting and were caught by surprise when its flowing magma hit thick snow causing a phreatic explosion, which followed the heating and expansion of groundwater.
