Huang meets hawkers to garner support for BN
SARIKEI : Dato Sri Huang Tiong Sii, the Barisan Nasional’s (BN) candidate for N.45 Repok, resumed his walkabout to meet voters around town.
The 47-year old businessman met hawkers trading in Sarikei District Council’s (SDC) premises yesterday.
He appealed for the hawkers to support his bid in the upcoming state election and at the same time to rally round the leadership of Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Adenan Satem.
Huang reminded them that Adenan had done an excellent job during his two years as Chief Minister and could do a lot more for Sarawak if given a five-year mandate.
Among those who accompanied Huang during the visit were Sarikei hawkers association chairman, Ong Ngie Hing and Sarikei SUPP vice chairman, Ling Dien Yong.
